Newspaper

For the front page, the three news items that I picked were:
- Prince Charles breaking his wrist.
- A train crash kills 40 people and injures 270.
- A faulty zebra crossing near a children's school.
I picked Prince Harry falling and breaking his wrist as the newsworthiest of all the stories because I know what people enjoy reading more than complete strangers who society says are better than them - those strangers getting humiliated, hurt and injured. They like to humanise people who are infamous so the reader can better sympathise and relate to them or so the majority can say "I'm not a prince but at least my hand isn't broken". And those who follow and respect The Royal Family will be happy to learn Charles is not fatally injured. The Swedish train crash was placed so the reader is intrigued enough to read onwards in the newspaper and it ends with the zebra crossing in a more lighthearted fluff piece to elevate the reader after they read such a terrible tragedy.
