Stereotyping Revision

Mary-Jane Watson from Sam Raimi's Spider-Man film series embodies several negative stereotypes about women in media, especially in the superhero genre. Her entire role is the love interest to the main hero and there is no depth to her outside of that, other than she also dated his best friend and was engaged to another man in the sequel. She is kidnapped or in mortal danger in every film and her only response is to scream manically and wait to be saved by a male hero. She's basically fucking useless is what I'm saying.
Sebastian Castellanos is the main protagonist of the horror-action video game series The Evil Within. He embodies the stereotype of the hard-broiled detective who keeps all of his emotions close to the chest and solves all of his problems through the use of violence. He  is unemotional and has a history of alcoholism, attributing to the action hero stereotype of being flawed yet valiant character. Despite the many horrors he faces within his own mind, he is not phased about them at all which befits the male stereotype of being so masculine that you are unaffected by even the worst emotional and physical horrors.
Gio Compario is the mascot of Go Compare, a financial services company and he is wildly known for his operatic singing voice and massively annoying catchphrase to "go compare". He is a stereotype of Italians on account of his comically exaggerated moustache, portly build and obnoxious singing voice which erupts at anytime and any location.
