Contrapuntal and Parallel Sound

Parallel sound is sound in film that relates to the occurring scene whilst contrapuntal is sound that contrasts to the scene.

1. A swelling song about love with an upbeat tone to reflect the happiness of the characters such as Elvis Presley's "Can't Help Falling In Love".

2. Led Zeppelin's "Bron-Y-Aur Stomp" because it's the story of how the lead singer went on walks with his dog in the countryside.
